Privacy Policy

Christians Supporting Choice for Voluntary Euthanasia (“C4VE”) recognises the right of its members, supporters and donors about whom we have information to have this information protected. Personal information is information or opinion that allows others to identify you, and its protection is a responsibility that we take seriously.

We may collect personal information from you (notably names and contact details) in order to administer our services to you and the community. This information may be collected during personal meetings with you (for example, when you join up), by mail, or by telephone, fax, email or forms you submit via our web service.

C4VE is aware that there are some members who do not wish others to know of their membership. Subject to any overriding obligation which may be placed upon us by law, it is therefore our policy not to reveal the fact that you are a member, supporter or donor to others, even fellow-members of C4VE, unless you have authorised us to do so, or you have made your involvement in C4VE manifest by your own actions or statements, for example by identifying yourself to others as a member, supporter or donor.

If you have given us permission to do so, we may include your name and address in communications with Members of Parliament in support of legislative reform.

It is our policy not to make contact details of office-holders or volunteers available to others without their prior authorization.

C4VE will not sell or provide lists of its members, supporters or donors to other persons or organizations.

It is our policy to ensure that all who are involved in our operations are aware of privacy and security issues, and that our administrative procedures and technology are consistent with this statement of intent.

If you have a question about our privacy policy, contact us.
